I decided to post another video today. A song by Lobo, "I'd love you to want me". The sound is NOT good at all, becoz the sound of the voice (which is of 'folk guitar') is not clear. Argggh!!!!

It's Only The Beginning

I don't know what is going through my mind right now...
New Year is about to come.
Which means, a friend of mine will be completing her degree by the end of this year. Which also means, after completing her degree, she will fly back to her hometown. Which means, we will be far away from each other. Sob Sob Sob.

Let's just say, it's only the beginning.

So decided to play an old song on my keyboard and post it on UTube today. The song called "Que Sera Sera (What will be will be) by Doris Day. It's not perfect tho...I wished I could play it way much better. By the way, there's another good version performed by David Gray and Damien Rice during LiveEarth Concert 2007.

KL Sing Song: 5th Annual Malaysian Singer Songwriters Showcase

Time: 3pm
Venue: Annexe Gallery, Central Market

I went there coz I like the fact they all play guitars while singing. Just guitars + singing. Some of the performers were buskers, before they really become performers; like Nik and Sharidir. Honestly, their songs are really good. Especially Sharidir.

I enjoyed the show so much. My friend accompanied me and helped captured some great pictures on that day. Here are some of the pics. I looking forward for next year's show...perhaps they'll be more new and talented singers who will be joining the event? :) I didn't buy any of the CDs though, coz I thought the normal price should've been reduced a bit.... in order to really 'introduce' them to the audience. Anyways, I still love the show. :)

Weekend shopping + halloween + Gothic fashion

1. 1TB External hard disk or 500GB external hard disk
Today, I accompanied my close friend to buy external hard disk in Lowyat. As usual, Lowyat was already packed with with people around noon. The prices for ext. hard disks has dropped a lot..and comparing Buffalo's 500GB to 1TB, the price for both are almost the same == RM300+. So my friend chosed 1TB rather than 500GB. Hehe.

2. Halloween
There were quite a number of people dressing up as 'gothics'. Some people dare to stare at them from head to toe, which me and my friend would never dare to do!! Hehe. To me, it's just that the fashion looks kinda 'spooky', when you walk pass them rather than feeling some bad karma or judging them as bad bad people. It's fashion..and anyone can be whatever they want. It's a way of life, it's what they choose and like to wear, and it's a culture. and they do look cool. I could feel the freedom that they achieved by being able to dress up the way they like. Like me for example, I chose to wear shorts, pants and jeans rather than skirts, wear my converse or adidas rather than high heels. So what...So let it be. I want it that way and I feel more comfortable and it won't affect other people's lives. Hehehe. Gothic fashion can easily be found in Berjaya Timesquare, I think there are at least a couple of shops specially selling gothic fashion--ranging from net socks, gothic boots, accesories, etc. Here's a link to what "Gothic" actually means. 3. Philips MP3
I found out that there's another smaller model of Philips' MP3. The price is around RM159 with 2GB. I may want to buy it as a gift for myself this Xmas, so in order to get one, as usual I must achieve something within the month of November.
